The History of Cirque du Soleil

In the early 1980s, a group of performers founded by Gilles Ste-Croix began performing on the streets of Baie-Saint-Paul in Quebec, Canada. The show featured stilt walkers, jugglers, fire breathers, dancers, acrobats, and musicians who delighted local audiences with their act.
